The fishing vest

Patti, this is just for you. Hope it brings back nothing but pleasant memories. (See comments on "A pic and a grin" post below for further details.)

That's it! I can't believe you still have it!

Hey, I learned from you: Never trash a perfectly good fashion statement. You still have that turquoise Nehru jacket with the gold buttons, don't you? We looked so FAB when we wore our matching jackets with white turtlenecks. Of course, I still have nightmares about that photo shoot that went awry. Even though I used club soda on the spot made by the fire extinguisher, that poor Nehru jacket was never the same. I finally had to give up and put it in a Goodwill bin. ~sigh~

Nope. My Nehru jacket was ruined during that incident with the Mounties. Don't you remember? Horses can be tough on clothes.

I once bought a Nehru jacket at the Goodwill store in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. It was turquoise with horseshoes stamped onto the material. I wonder...

OMG....crying over here now. All I can say is *We are not worthy to play this game with you*. ~pouts~

It's not a contest, POE&TS. Just because Patti and I happen to be really good at it is no reason why anyone else shouldn't play. You and SpookyRach have entertained the rest of us bountifully in the past and we are truly appreciative, right Patti? (BTW, Patti, I hope you cut the buttons off that jacket before tossing it. Where are you going to get anything that funky these days?)

You can always search spookyrach's closet for fashionable clothing such as that. She never throws clothing away. I believe she still has her Jr. High Prom dress hanging up somewhere.

Right! Of course!

No internet for almost a week! It all started when I was trying to post a comment here....

Of course I kept the buttons! They became part of the button mosaic on the side of my house. Last time you saw it, M, was when it was still a tribute to Michael Jackson. But, you know...Now it's turned into a tribute to the Flying Nun. It's still a work in progress.
